THE INSTRUCTORS
A NEW TAKE ON AN OLD PRACTICE
COOPERATION IS CUTTING-EDGE
We are three teachers who come from different backgrounds, so instead of competing with each other, we started training, sharing, and growing faster together than staying isolated in our small communities.Â
The Eight Piece is our process of creating real growth, results, and progress.

He works with all levels from beginners to high level stunt teams, actors, youth organizations, and first responders. Including being lead stunt perfomer and trainer for Into the Badlands on AMC, and Wellness trainer for The Matrix: Resurrections to improve their movement efficiency and overall well-being.

Sheldon Callahan

He serves as the Executive Director of the Deep Root Center for Spiritual Studies 501(c)(3) non-profit, a temple focused on spiritual and wellness studies, initially founded by monks from the Shaolin Monastery in China. Master Sheldon is also the head trainer of Shaolin Life, a program under the Deep Root Center, where he leads classes in Kung Fu, Qigong, Tai Chi, and meditation.

His training encompassed internal martial arts, medical Qigong, and meditation. In 2012, David founded the Wudang West Cultural Heritage Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit wellness ministry based in Oakland, California, dedicated to practicing and preserving classical Chinese healing arts.
